TEACHER

Your coach has taught writing classes for the Smithsonian Institution, Writers' Digest School, the Washington D.C. Writers Center, Montgomery Community College and Prince George's Community College.

EDITOR

Your coach has been an editor for AMAZING STORIES, FANTASTIC STORIES, BORDERLANDS and STARDATE MAGAZINE, as well as story anthologies. He is currently West Coast Editor for Borderlands Press.

NOVELIST

Your coach has published over eighty novels with houses like Simon&Schuster, Random House, HarperCollins, Berkley Books, Tor Books, Dell Books and Bantam Books. His novels have been translated into French, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Hungarian and Russian. He is a New York Times bestselling author.

SHORT STORY WRITER

Your coach has sold close to two hundred short stories to magazines and anthologies such as ANALOG, OMNI, THE MAGAZINE OF FANTASY AND SCIENCE FICTION and BORDERLANDS.

NON-FICTION BOOKS

Your coach has sold non-fiction books to St Martin's Press and Berkley Books. He is presently at work on a book entitled: CATHARSIS: THE KEY TO BESTSELLING WRITING

ARTICLES

Your coach has written over a hundred articles for such magazines as OMNI, QUANTUM, RAMPAGE and the MARY HIGGINS CLARK MYSTERY MAGAZINE.

TELEVISION

Your coach received his B.A. in Radio, TV and Film from the University of Maryland. He worked for NBC Washington for six years. In Los Angeles, he wrote many scripts for animation shows, and two for STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION. He was a producer for thirteen episodes of WMAC MASTERS. He is a member of the Writer's Guild Of America, West.

GHOST WRITING

Your coach has ghost written a number of books, but can't tell you which ones due to contractual promises.

AGENTS

Your coach has worked with the Jimmy Vines Literary Agency, the Henry Morrison Literary Agency, the Donald Maas Literary Agency and the Ray Peekner Literary Agency. He has a number of agent friends in New York, and is considering starting his own literary agency. In Los Angeles, your coach has worked with the Monteiro-Rose Agency and the Stone-Manners Agency.

BIO

David Bischoff was born in Washington D.C. in 1951. He has lived in Baltimore, Manhattan, London, Paris, Cambridge England, Los Angeles -- and now Eugene, Oregon. He is married and has a four year old son named Bernie.
